Back, joint or muscle pain – or a body recovering from birth or surgery? Together we’ll find the cause and a concrete solution that starts to make sense to you.

  • Fyzioterapie pro Vás in Kobylisy since 2013
  • 20+ years of experience
  • International McKenzie MDT® certification

  • back pain – cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine
  • joint and muscle pain
  • disc herniations and spinal blockages
  • knee, shoulder and hip pain
  • heel and Achilles tendon pain
  • recovery after injuries and surgery
  • pelvic floor – painful, weakened or tense
  • diastasis and tailbone pain
  • flat feet and foot problems
  • stability and posture

Physiotherapy is teamwork. Shall we sit down together?

I’m here for you when…

  • something hurts and isn’t getting better on its own
  • pain limits your movement or everyday life – at work, caring for your family, the sport you love, or sex
  • you’ve tried different approaches with no results
  • you want to address the cause, not just the symptoms
  • you’re looking for an individual approach – you want to understand your body, know how to rely on it and trust it again

We may not be a good match if…

  • you’re looking for a quick passive fix without your own effort
  • you expect to be healed instantly after one visit – although even that can happen
  • you don’t want to change your movement habits

I don’t fix your body for you – I’ll show you how to understand it, and what we’ll do about it together.

Does any of this sound familiar?

“My back or neck hurts and it isn’t going away on its own.”
“I can’t move the way I used to.”
“I have abdominal separation after childbirth and can’t feel my core.”
“I’ve already tried all sorts of things, without results.”
“I was recommended surgery, but I want to try another way.”
“I finally understood what I should be doing.”
a client’s reaction

Pain often doesn’t start where you feel it.

The body works as a whole, and the connections can be surprising. I don’t fix your body for you – I help you understand what’s happening in it, and find what specifically to do so your condition starts improving.

The methods I draw on

Tailored solutions, not one‑size‑fits‑all exercises

We look for a simple, functional solution that fits into your everyday life. Not universal exercises, but what makes sense for you.

A small change, a big difference

Often a small change that makes sense to your body is enough, and your body starts responding to it.

Direction, not promises

I don’t promise quick fixes, but a direction that will work for you in the long run.

Grounded in experience and research

I draw, among other things, on the research‑backed McKenzie Method® and on my own experience treating pain and injuries. I opened the Fyzioterapie pro Vás practice in 2013. The way I work keeps evolving.

From the first word to exercises you’ll take home

Every session is unique and depends on your current goal and wishes. Sometimes a few visits are enough, sometimes a single pointer gives you clarity. If you have many issues you want to resolve, longer systematic cooperation will probably be needed.

  1. 01

    A chat to start

First we’ll talk about what troubles you and what you expect from therapy.

  2. 02

    Movement assessment

    A movement examination follows.

  3. 03

    Finding relief

Together we look for what relieves your body and what helps it.

  4. 04

    A concrete plan

You’ll leave with specific advice and exercises you can start right away.

Some clients arrive in a very acute state – and that’s okay. If you’re unsure what to do, even a single consultation can bring relief or point you in the right direction.

Exercise is “a choice”.

Clients often come to me at the point where they’ve already tried various approaches.

Together we look for a solution that is realistic and sustainable for you, i.e. something that fits into your normal day.

Your body’s response to the movement assessment will show whether it needs rest, exercise, or a visit to another specialist or doctor. That’s why physiotherapy makes sense even in a very acute state.

My goal is both relief during physiotherapy and that you know how to help yourself.

  • you’ll understand what’s happening in your body
  • you’ll find out what helps you and what doesn’t
  • you’ll return to movement with more confidence

With some problems, improvement can come quite quickly, i.e. as early as the first session or within a few days.

Every therapy starts with your story.

We always look for solutions individually, according to your body and situation. I focus on diagnosing and treating problems of the whole musculoskeletal system – pain in the back, joints, muscles and tendons, and functional issues.

Mgr. Jitka Šerclová – portrait

I see healing as my life’s calling.

I’m a physiotherapist with more than 20 years of experience.
My own experience with back pain and my encounter with the McKenzie Method®, in which I hold international certification, had a major influence on my therapeutic approach.

I see physiotherapy as a process in which the client learns to understand their body and gradually takes responsibility for their health. “I don’t fix you.” It’s about understanding yourself, your difficulties, and healing, where possible.

My story and education

Come even in acute pain.

Your body’s reactions will show us which direction to take and what will help you most right now. Even a single session can make it clear how to move forward.
